A suburb of old houses and older pipes
At the last census the suburb counted just over 2,000 dwellings across 2.72 square kilometres, and most of them are separate houses. The housing runs from pre-war miners' cottages through Federation weatherboard, mid-century brick and the fibro infill of the 1950s and 60s.
